The dry vegetable oil contains a variety of different components, the greater the degree of unsaturated oil, that is, the greater the iodine value, the faster the oxidation polymerization drying.
2. Pigments vary in composition. Inks made from inorganic pigments usually dry faster than inks made from organic pigments. Because all kinds of inorganic pigments are mostly metal salts and oxides, dry vegetable oil by the drying effect, drying speed. But the use of carbon black as a pigment for black ink, because carbon black has no drying effect, so black ink drying slower. The organic pigments used in the manufacture of color inks have no drying effect, and sometimes they inhibit oxidation and drying, and the drying speed is slow.
3. The influence of adjuvant.
Drying agent: the ink itself contains drying agent, printing adaptability adjustment, in order to speed up the drying speed sometimes also add drying agent. But excessive drying agent will make ink emulsification serious, but not conducive to drying.
Willy oil: the main component of transparent diluent (willy oil) is AI(OH)3 and connecting material, aluminum hydroxide is not only strong moisture absorption, water is easy to dissociate, promote ink emulsification, slow drying, but also adsorption dryer, make it ineffective, not conducive to drying.
White oil: white oil is a white opaque emulsion, loose texture, floating on the surface of the ink layer, hindering the oxidation of the ink polymerization conjunctival drying, and will aggravate the emulsion of ink.
Removal agent: When the paper appears hair phenomenon, add a certain amount of removal agent can reduce the viscosity of the ink. However, the desviscosifier is not dry excipient, and contains waxy substances with low density. It will float on the surface of the ink layer, which will hinder the oxidation and polymerization of the conjunctival of the connecting material and slow the drying of the imprinted ink layer.
4. Ink layer thickness. The thicker the ink layer, the lower part of the ink film into the paper, but the paper can allow penetration of the connection material has a certain limit, the upper part can only rely on the oxidation conjunctiva drying, ink layer will reduce the middle part of the ink layer and air contact opportunity, especially after the ink film surface conjunctiva, it will prevent the oxygen in the air into the film under the imprinting ink, affecting the drying of ink.
