1. Transfer printing equipment
Generally, it can be divided into two types and two categories. Two kinds are: one for the intermittent, generally known as the flat format; The other is continuous, mainly hot roller type. Two classes are: one is pressurized; The other type is the decompression type, that is, the so-called vacuum transfer printing with air extraction. The decompression transfer printing is most suitable for deforming fabrics, fuelling fabrics and fabrics that are not resistant to high temperature, such as acrylic bulk fabric and artificial fur. The vacuum transfer printing can also make a part of disperse dyes that are not resistant to sublimation be applied, thus expanding the choice of dyes; On the other hand can also increase the amount of color and transfer speed.
2. Transfer printing process
Pressure type transfer embossing process. Taking polyester as an example, the most suitable process conditions should be 20 to 30 seconds at 205℃. However, the effect is not good at 170 ~ 180℃ and 10s. At 180 ~ 190℃ and 15 ~ 10s, only the ring dyeing effect can be achieved. If it is above 230 ~ 240℃ and 40s, it feels rough and hard. If it is above 240℃ and 45s, it is close to melting. Different types of fabric fibers, transfer conditions are also different.
In addition to temperature and time, transfer printing pressure is also a very important condition. If the pressure is too small, the gap between the fabric and the patterned paper is large, and the yarn is round, so that the dye gas molecules collide with the air in large numbers and escape, resulting in poor effect. At the same time, the dye is easy to leak, the lines are thick and the pattern is fuzzy. If the pressure is increased, the yarn can become flat, the gap between the fabric and the patterned paper is small and the transfer coloring effect is good, the pattern is clear, the lines are smooth and fine. However, too much pressure will cause deformation, fuzz and changes in the shape of the heavy fabric, as well as aurorae, resulting in rough feel and color surface defects.
